Oat crackers with ginger

  • 50 ml Provamel Oat Drink
  • 3 tsp chia seeds
  • 80 g vegetable oil-based spread, at room temperature
  • 4 tbsp agave syrup
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp vanilla sugar or ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 100 g oats

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C / fan 160°C / gas 4.
  2. Soak the chia seeds in the Provamel Oat Drink for 15 minutes.
  3. Using a hand mixer, beat the soaked chia seeds with the vegetable oil spread, agave syrup, ginger, vanilla sugar / extract and pinch of salt until well blended.
  4. Add the oats and stir with a spoon until well combined.
  5. Divide the mixture into 6 rounds and place on a greased and lined baking tray – well spaced apart. Gently, press each round flat with the back of a spoon or with your fingers to a diameter of around 6-7 cm.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes in the middle of the oven until the edges are slightly brown. Allow to cool.
